Huia is a New Zealand book publisher producing books with a New Zealand or Pacific perspective.

Taiki E! is a magazine aimed at primary school students in years 3-8. The magazine is A5 and written entirely in Te Reo. Each issue features a school and their students, plus includes puzzles, movie reviews, interesting articles, submitted artwork and a poster.
 
The theme for this issue was weird science.

The weird science theme carried throughout the magazine is similar to that of classic sci-fi films – think Back to the Future and Honey I shrunk the kids – and features time travel, explosives laboratories, lightening storms and crazy haired scientists. Colour, pattern and typoraphy are kept bold and bright to keep the magazine full of energy. Even the page tabs have glowing beakers.
